Description
Cloam Cottage is a house dating from around the mid-18th century. It is constructed of stone rubble, with a rendered finish above the ground floor. The roof is made of cement-washed slate and features gable ends, possibly with some early crested ridge tiles. The building has a two-room and through passage plan and stands two storeys high, presenting an almost symmetrical two-window front. On the ground floor, there are two 19th-century six-pane sash windows and a part-glazed 19th-century door located near the centre. The first floor has two early 19th-century hornless 16-pane sash windows. The interior has not been inspected. Cloam Cottage is part of a group of buildings in the centre of Port Isaac.
