Description
No. 28 Dolphin Street is the right-hand house of a pair, built from stone rubble with brick dressings and topped with a slate roof featuring gable end chimney stacks. The house has a double depth plan, likely with a small central stair hall. It stands two storeys high and has an almost symmetrical two-window front, with brick segmental arches and dressings on both the ground and first floor windows. The ground floor features a possibly 20th-century plank door, which is set within a likely restored 19th-century doorcase that includes a pediment with a dentilled cornice above. Both the ground and first floors have replacement 12-pane sash windows. The interior has not been inspected.
