Description
No. 62 is a house located at the right end of a terrace on East Street in Corfe Castle, likely built in the 18th century. The building features rubble stone walls and a stone slate roof, with brick stacks at either end and one stone stack positioned just left of center. It has two storeys and an attic, along with a single-storey rear lean-to constructed in matching materials. The entrance is located at the rear of the property.
On the front elevation, the ground floor includes four casement windows with glazing bars set under segmental arches, one of which is in a former doorway. The first floor has three casement windows with glazing bars and one blocked window. The attic features three hipped dormers, each with casement windows that also have glazing bars. Inside, there are some exposed ceiling beams.
