CORFE CASTLE EAST STREET (West side) SY 96 81 8/63 No. 62 (formerly listed as Fair View) 20.11.59 GV II House at right end of terrace. Probably C18. Rubble stone walls, stone slate roof brick end stacks and one stone stack just left of centre. 2 storeys and attic. Single-storey rear lean-to in matching construction. Entrance at rear. On front elevation, ground floor has 4 casements with glazing bars under segmental arches - one in a former doorway. First floor has 3 casements with glazing bars and one blocked window. Attic has 3 hipped dormers with casements with glazing bars. Internally, some exposed ceiling beams. (RCHM, Monument 75. Dorset. Vol. II).
