Description

No. 2 Church Street is a house in a terrace, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is built of rubble stone with quoins and features a Cotswold stone slate roof, with a tile roof at the rear and two stone end stacks. The building has a large range with a rear gabled wing and stands two storeys high with an attic.

There are five windows on the front, which are 4-pane sashes set within shallow reveals and have moulded wooden architraves. The roof includes two gabled dormers that cut into the eaves, each containing 3-light casements. On the ground floor, there are central 6-panel double doors that are partially glazed. To the left, there is an inserted small shop front and door, while to the right, there are twin 4-pane sashes within a moulded double architrave, with a cellar window visible below.
