Description

No. 8, Church Street is a late 17th/early 18th century building, formerly the Coach and Horses Inn, and now a restaurant. It is constructed of roughcast faced rubble stone, with a Cotswold stone slate roof and a small stone stack to the left. The building is three storeys high and has two 12-pane sash windows with flush moulded wooden architraves on the first floor facing the street. Two smaller 6-pane sashes are located on the second floor. A 20th-century shop front is present on the ground floor, featuring a bow window to the left and a half-glazed door to the right, which has two bolection-moulded panels at its base.
