Description
No. 3 Church Street is a large house from the 18th century, featuring a rendered exterior and a hipped roof made of Cotswold stone slate. The building has three storeys and an attic, which may have been raised from an original two-storey structure. It has three windows on the upper floors, which are two-light casements with wooden mullions and transoms, topped with a wooden cornice. The ground floor includes a shop front with a door located to the right. On the second floor, there are three four-pane sash windows with cambered lintels and keystones, along with a wooden eaves cornice above. Both cornices feature enlarged blocks above the centre of the windows, which connect to the keystones on the top floor. The house also has a hipped dormer and vertical pilaster strips.
