Description
Nos 3 and 5 Long Street are a pair of houses in a terrace, dating from the late 17th century. They feature two timber-framed projecting jettied gables supported on columns, with a Cotswold stone slate roof and no visible stacks. Each house has two windows: No. 5 has a 16-pane sash window, while No. 3 has a wooden twin casement, both with moulded wooden architraves. The ground floors have 20th-century shop fronts, with No. 5 featuring two small Corinthian columns supporting the jetty and a lower fascia, while No. 3 has two Doric columns. The gables have plain barge boards, with No. 3 also displaying a finial.
