Description

No. 5 Brownston Street is an 18th-century house that is part of a row of buildings. It features a smooth rendered exterior and an asbestos-cement slate roof. The house has two storeys and two windows, which include 4-pane sash windows set on stone cills. On the ground floor to the left, there is a square bay with a low-pitched hipped roof. The central entrance has a part-glazed door flanked by plain pilasters and topped with heavy consoles supporting a cornice. To the left, there is a rough rendered pilaster, while a plain pilaster is on the right, along with a plinth and gable brick stacks.
