Description

No. 64 on Brownston Street is a house and shop dating from the early 19th century. The building has a smooth rendered front, with a rubble stone back and a slate roof. It stands two storeys high and features two windows. The ground floor has a three-light plate glass display front from the 19th century, with a 20th-century glazed door to the right. There is a throughway on the right side, which has a large square opening that matches the height of the shop front. On the first floor, there are two 16-pane sash windows with moulded architraves. The throughway includes an arched opening at the back and a 12-pane sash window above, along with another large 12-pane sash window to the right.
