Description

No. 59 Brownston Street is a small house located in a row of buildings, dating from the early to mid 19th century. It has a rendered exterior and slate roofs. The house is two storeys high and features two windows. On the ground floor, there are square bay windows with 1:16:1 panes and flat roofs, which are flanked by a six-panel fielded door. On the first floor, offset to the left, there are two 12-pane sash windows. The building has a small painted plinth, and no chimney stack is visible. While it presents a modest town frontage, it is notable for being the only unchanged house in this row.
