Description

No. 6 Brownston Street is a house in a row, dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It features a smooth rendered exterior and a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has one window. On the ground floor, there is a broad 20-pane sash window, while above it is a 12-pane sash window. To the left, there is a 20th-century half-glazed door set in a pilaster surround, which is topped with heavy consoles supporting a cornice. The house has a painted plinth, a plain pilaster strip on the right, and a brick gable stack also on the right.
