Description

The former chapel building behind number 9 Church Street in Tetbury is an early 18th-century structure that may have originally been two separate cottages. At the time of the survey in October 1984, it was empty. The building is constructed of rubble stone and features a Bridgwater tile roof, with some Cotswold stone slates at the back. It is a single range with two large gables and was originally three storeys high. There are two large round-headed windows with brick arches, each containing two pointed lights. The central doorcase also has a large round-headed brick arch, complete with a radial fanlight and double flush-panel doors. The gables include square openings. The interior has been converted into one large space, with a small panelled gallery on the right.
