Description
This is a cottage attached to a shop. It was rebuilt in the early 20th century using materials from the 18th century. The cottage has rubble stone walls and a stone slate roof, with a plastered stack at the left end. It is one storey high with an attic. A part-glazed panelled door provides entry. On the ground floor is one horizontally sliding sash window with glazing bars, set beneath a stone arch. The attic has two pent-roofed dormers with casement windows containing glazing bars. A fragment of tracery has been re-set next to the door. The building is listed for its group value, contributing to the wider historic context of the area.
