Description
This building is a cottage, originally serving as both a cottage and a shop, dating from the 18th century and early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed rubble and brick, topped with a pantile ridge roof that features three gable brick stacks. There is a two-storey wing to the east, with quoins at the corners.
The west side has a 19th-century plank door and a glazing bar sash window, while a small casement window is located on the east side, all featuring wooden lintels. Further east, there is a 19th-century shopfront with wooden pilasters and an entablature, which includes a 20th-century glazed door. To the east again, there is a larger glazing bar sash window with a sliding casement above it, and another sliding casement window above in the lower range, reaching up to the eaves.
