Description
The Old Vicarage is a house built around 1830, designed by John Shaw. It features coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and has a slate hipped roof with stone stacks. The building is three bays wide and three storeys tall. A stone band runs along the first floor. The central entrance has a moulded surround and cornice, leading to a six-fielded panel door. On the east side, there is a semi-circular bay window with glazing bar sashes and a parapet. A single glazing bar sash is located on the west side. Above the entrance, there are three glazing bar sashes, with smaller glazing bar sashes above them, all featuring plain ashlar lintels.
