Description
This is a late 18th-century cottage, originally used as a shop. It is constructed of coursed rubble with a concrete roof tiled roof and single ridge and gable stacks. The doorway is off-centre and features a plank door with a rectangular overlight. To either side of the doorway are single 3-light sliding casement windows; above these are 2- and 3-light casements from the 20th century. All of these windows are set within segmental arches. To the west is another plank door with a rectangular overlight, alongside a late 18th-century shop window with glazing bars, topped with a wooden entablature, and a small 2-light sliding casement above. A sliding sash window is located in the middle of the upper floor.
