Description

No 1 Lincoln Road is a house that was originally a water mill, dating from the mid-18th century. The building is constructed of coursed rubble and features a pantile ridge roof, with a single ridge stack and a single gable end stack. The entrance has a 20th-century glazed door and a 20th-century glazed porch. There is a 20th-century casement window in the original cart entrance, along with a single 19th-century casement window that has a wooden lintel. Above, there are two more 19th-century casement windows, all with wooden lintels, as well as a loft door that has a plain plank door below it.
