Description

Hainton House is a small country house, dating to 1765, now divided into flats. It is constructed of brick with ashlar dressings, and has a slate hipped roof with two brick stacks at the wall ends. The house is seven bays wide, with the central three bays projecting slightly and topped by a pediment. A stone band runs along the first floor, above which is a decorated stone cornice and a parapet. The central doorway, originally with a semi-circular head, is now blocked. All windows are glazing bar sashes with flat heads, brick voussoirs, and ashlar keystones.
