Description

Stonefield House is an early 19th-century house located on the Branston and Mere Sleaford Road. It is constructed of alternating courses of rubble and blue brick, with blue brick dressings. The roof is slate, and features three tall octagonal stacks built of blue brick and stone. The gables are coped with kneelers and octagonal pinnacles.

The house is two-and-a-half storeys and has three bays, with a slightly projecting central bay. The central doorway is pointed and contains 19th-century double glazed doors. Flanking the entrance are single, two-light chamfered mullioned casements with blue brick dripmoulds. Above, there are three windows of similar design. The attic has a central Dutch gable with a small lancet window, and single dormers with small two-light casements on either side.

Four gatepiers, constructed of stone and blue brick and decorated with carved animals, support iron railings.
