Description

No 21 High Street is a house dating from the mid-18th century, which was altered in the later 19th century. It is constructed of rubble stone and features a 19th-century slate roof, with coped gables and end wall stacks. The building is two stories high and has raised quoins. There is a two-window range of paired sashes set in raised bead-moulded surrounds, with ground floor windows that have cornices above. The original sashes have been replaced with 20th-century aluminium windows. The door is located to the right and is framed by a flush cyma-moulded stone surround, with a shallow stone porch. The house is listed for its group value.
