Description

29 and 31 High Street are a pair of cottages, now serving as a house, likely dating from the early 18th century and altered over time. They are constructed of rubble stone and topped with a Bridgwater tile roof. No 29 features a west end stack and coped gables, while No 31 has a rear wall stack. Both cottages are two stories tall, with one window each. No 29 has a 12-pane sash window on the first floor and a 6-pane window with a door on the ground floor, both with flush surrounds. No 31 shows signs of several alterations, including early 19th-century 20-pane sash windows on each floor, a first-floor sill course, and a door located to the right.
