Description

No 34 on High Street is a house that dates from the later 18th century. It is constructed of rubble stone and has a concrete tile roof, featuring coped gables and end wall stacks. The building is two storeys high and has one 19th-century sash window with a flush unmoulded surround on the upper floor. The entrance has a bead-moulded flush doorcase topped with a stone hood supported by brackets. The presence of flush quoins on the first floor suggests that the house may have been rebuilt from an earlier structure.
