Description

Colerne Baptist Chapel is a Baptist chapel built in 1867. It features an ashlar front with rubble stone at the back and has a slate roof. The south front has a moulded pedimental gable and a round plaque that reads 'Providence Chapel 1867'. There are two round-arched windows with moulded surrounds and bracketed sills on either side of a central projecting Roman Doric porch, which has a moulded cornice and parapet. The porch is supported by two columns at the front and two three-quarter column responds. The entrance has double doors, and there are two arched windows on each side of the porch.
