Description

This is a range of open stalls dating from around 1874, built for W. H. Poynder of Hartham Park. The stalls are constructed of squared rubble stone with stone tile roofs. The building has a T-plan design, with coped gables to the north, south, and east. Painted timber posts define the stalls. The south-facing section has five bays arranged within a crosswing, while the east-facing range has two bays to the south and three to the north of the crosswing. This is part of an unusually elaborate Victorian estate farm.
