Description

Wheelwright Cottage is a late 18th-century cottage located on Welbourn Beck Street. It is constructed of coursed rubble and brick, topped with a pantile roof. The building features a single gable and a single ridge brick stack. It is a single storey plus attic structure. The off-centre doorway has a 20th-century half-glazed door with a segment brick head. To the left of the door is a plain sash window with a wooden lintel, and to the right is a 20th-century glazing bar casement window, also with a segment brick head. Above the main structure is a single square dormer that contains a plain sash window.
