Description

The Blacksmith's Forge is a building from 1864, constructed of dressed rubble with brick dressings. It has a pantile roof featuring a single gable and a single ridge brick stack. The forge is a single storey structure. The south front includes a large cart entrance with double doors and brick quoined jambs, along with a single window beneath a segmental stone head, which has external plank shutters. A plaque displaying a horseshoe and the date '1864' is located in the gable wall. This building is included for its group value only.
