Description

The stables to Welbourn Manor, dating from the late 18th century, were originally a cowhouse. They are constructed of coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and feature a pan-tile roof. The north front is marked by ashlar quoined piers at either end, with six open bays supported by seven wooden columns in between. Set back inside, there is a series of stables that have plank doors. This building is included in the listing for its group value.
