Description

No. 27 High Street is a cottage dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with ashlar and brick dressings, topped with a concrete tile roof that features two brick gable stacks. The building is two stories high and has a central doorway with a segmental brick head and a plank door. On either side of the doorway are single two-light glazing bar sliding sash windows, also with segmental brick heads. Above the doorway, there are two two-light casement windows. This cottage is included in the listing for its group value.
