Description

Woodruff Cottage is a late 18th-century cottage, altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with a hipped and gabled pantile roof, overhanging eaves, and two red brick gable stacks. The single-storey and attic cottage has a four-bay front. An off-centre six-panelled door is flanked to the left by a single 2-light casement window, and to the right by a pair of 2-light casement windows. All openings are topped with timber lintels. The roof features two gabled dormers with 2-light casements and leaded cheeks, and a smaller dormer with brick cheeks.
