Description
The Old Rectory is a former rectory, now a house, built around 1840. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings, topped with a slate roof that features raised stone coped gables and moulded kneelers. The building has single ashlar gable and ridge stacks, which have square funnels and moulded copings.
The front of the house is two storeys high and has three bays with a plinth. The central bay contains a two-light window, with a further two-light window to the left and a three-light window to the right. The first floor has similar windows. All the windows are glazing bar sashes, featuring cavetto moulded mullions and chamfered stone reveals. On the side of the building, there is a four-centred arched Tudor doorway with a moulded head and lozenge stops.
