Description

The stable at Newton Farm House is an early 18th-century structure that was altered in the 20th century. It is built from coursed limestone rubble and features ashlar quoins, topped with an asbestos sheet roof. The stable has a single-storey front with three bays, which includes two planked doors separated by a louvred opening. All openings are fitted with timber lintels. On the right gable, there is a stone staircase that leads to a former hayloft above the stable. This building is included for its group value.
