Description

Moat House is a late 18th-century house, altered in the mid-19th century and 20th century. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings, and has a plain tiled roof with two red brick wall stacks. The three-bay front has a three-story design with a central half-glazed double door and a plain overlight. This is flanked by single canted bays, each with a hipped tiled roof and glazing bar sash windows. The ground floor has three glazing bar sash windows. The first floor has three glazing bar sash windows, and the second floor has three smaller, similar windows; all windows have splayed segmental ashlar lintels.
