Description
Laundry Cottage is a late 18th-century cottage that was altered in the 20th century. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and features a slate roof with a single yellow brick ridge and gable stacks. The cottage has a two-storey, irregular three-bay front. The entrance is an off-centre planked door with a plain ashlar lintel. To the left of the door is a two-light window, while to the right, there is a single-light window and another two-light window. On the first floor, there are three two-light windows. All windows are glazing bar casements with ashlar lintels. To the right, there is a projecting service range that is at right angles to the main structure, featuring a single gable stack and containing two and three-light glazing bar casements with ashlar lintels, along with a small fixed light at the eaves.
