Description
Rose Cottage is an early 18th-century cottage that was altered in the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a pantile roof that is hipped on the left side, with a single gable and ridge stacks made of yellow brick. The cottage is a single storey with attics and has a three-bay front. The central entrance consists of a half-glazed door with a bordered light, which is flanked by two three-light glazing bar casements, all supported by timber lintels. The roof includes three gabled dormers, each with two-light glazing bar casements and rendered cheeks.
