Description

The right hand stable block to the Black Horse Inn is a stable block that has been converted into a garage. It dates from the late 18th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. The building is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and features a black glazed pantile roof that is hipped towards the street and gabled at the other end. It is a single-storey structure with a five-bay front, which includes two pairs of wide planked doorways and a narrower planked door, along with two two-light windows, all of which are set beneath timber lintels.
