Description

Butlers Cottage is a cottage built in the late 18th century, with later alterations made in the late 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a Collyweston slate roof with crested ridge tiles and two red brick gable stacks. The cottage is a single storey with attics and has a three-bay front. It has a dentillated eaves course and a half-glazed door that is sheltered by a 19th-century wooden porch with a lattice design. On either side of the door are single glazing bar sash windows with segmental heads. The roof includes three gabled dormers, each with two-light casements and rendered cheeks. This building is included in the listing for its group value only.
