Description
The stable block immediately east of the White Hart Inn is a former stable block that now serves as ancillary accommodation for the public house. It dates from the early 19th century and is constructed of red brick with a pantiled roof. The building features a brick dentil eaves cornice and consists of a central two-storey block flanked by lean-to wings. The main block has three segmental-headed openings with original windows that are now blocked. There is a central doorway with an original door that has been re-faced, and a circular panel in the gable. The left wing includes a segmental carriage entrance with mid-20th century boarded doors, while the right wing has a similar blind arch featuring 19th century lettering that reads 'GOOD STABLING LOOSE BOXE'S HORSES & TRAPS TO LET'. This building is included for its group value.
