Description

Waterloo House is a house and shop located on Stradbroke Church Street. It features a late 19th-century facade but has an older core, originally timber framed and likely extensively rebuilt. The front is plastered and topped with a shallow-pitched slated roof. The building has two storeys and includes four large-paned sash windows set in flush frames. The intact late 19th-century shop front has three-light windows, a fascia, and a cornice supported by brackets with drop finials. There are two shop doorways with glazed doors and plain oblong fanlights. The building is included for its group value.
