Description

Town Close is originally one house, now comprising two cottages, dating from the 16th century. It is constructed with a timber frame, which has been plastered, and has a thatched roof. The building is two storeys high with an attic. It has a two-cell plan and two windows, which are 18th-century casements. A further window was added to the left side in the mid-20th century. There are two boarded doors. An internal stack is present. The interior has not been fully examined.
