Description
Pump House Cottage is a house, which was later divided into two cottages, dating from the 16th century. It features a timber frame with plaster and a thatched roof. The building is two storeys high with an attic and has a three-cell plan with a lobby entrance. The windows are mid-20th century casements, and there is a mid-20th century porch with a glazed door. An internal stack and an external stack are located at the right-hand gable end. The interior has been significantly modernised, but there are some notable features, including good exposed timbering, particularly in the left-hand cell. Additionally, a five-light diamond mullion window has been revealed on the ground floor, along with some original floorboarding.
