The building is timber framed and plastered, with a thatched roof on the main range and a corrugated iron-clad roof on the service range. It stands two storeys high and has a two-cell plan. The windows are casements with square leaded panes. There is a central lobby entrance that includes a 19th-century open gabled timber porch and a boarded door. Internal stacks are present in each range.
