Description

Barn Acre is a farmhouse dating from the late 16th century to early 17th century, with a 20th-century addition on the left side of the main range and later extensions at the rear. The building is timber framed and plastered, topped with a pantiled roof. It has two storeys and features five windows, which include various 19th and 20th-century casements. The entrance is a lobby type with a gabled porch and a boarded door from the mid-20th century. Inside, there are two internal stacks, with the smaller stack located at the gable end of the original range.
