Description
Shaw's Gate Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates from the late 16th century to early 17th century, with a rear extension added in the mid 20th century. The building is timber framed and plastered, topped with a thatched roof. It is a single storey with an attic and has a three-cell plan. The facade features three 19th-century three-light casement windows, a lobby entrance with a plank door, and one gabled dormer. There is one internal stack and an external stack located on the left-hand gable. The windows in the left-hand gable end include some diamond leaded glass.
