Description
West Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 16th century to early 17th century, with later additions at the rear. It is constructed with a timber frame and has a plastered exterior, topped with a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, following a three-cell plan. There are four windows featuring mid-20th century three-light casements. The entrance is a lobby type, with a simple 20th century gabled porch and a boarded entrance door. A small shallow-gabled dormer is present as well. Inside, there is an internal stack and a 19th century external stack on the right-hand gable end. Notably, there is a good original oak panelled partition on the ground floor.
