Description
Elm Tree Farm Cottages, now two dwellings, originally a late 16th/early 17th century farmhouse. The building is timber framed and plastered, with a plaintiled roof. It has two storeys and a three-cell plan. The front has a four-window range, featuring various casement windows, and two doorways to the right-hand side, each with a boarded door. One doorway is accessed via a small, mid-20th century brick porch. An internal stack is present, along with a small external stack on the right-hand gable end. A dairy wing adjoins the right-hand side, and a further wing projects forward, both being one storey and attic in height, constructed partly of colourwashed brick and partly of plaster.
