Description
The Old Parsonary is a house dating from the late 15th century to early 16th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and has a plastered exterior, topped with a hipped thatched roof. The building is a single storey with an attic. It features one three-light casement window with paired boarded shutters and two eyebrow dormers, one of which has diamond leaded glass. There is a cross passage entry on the right side with a 20th-century boarded door and an open timber porch, as well as another boarded door on the left side. The house has an internal stack and an external stack on the right side. Inside, there is a roll-moulded and crenellated beam in the cross passage, along with the remains of two arched doorways that provided access to the service end of the house.
