Description

Willoughby House is a former farmhouse dating from the early 17th century. It is timber framed and plastered, with the plaster designed to resemble ashlar. The roof is covered with plain tiles, with slates at the bottom of the front slope. The house has two storeys and an attic, featuring a three-window range with three-light mullion and transom casements. The doorway is asymmetrical and has a reeded architrave with a 20th-century boarded door. Inside, there is one internal stack, original newel attic stairs, and some original floorboarding.
