Former farmhouse. C18, with mid-C19 front. 2 storeys and attics to main range. Timber-framed, with rendered front and red brick sides; dark headers on the north, facing the road. Old plaintiles; fluted barge-boards to gables, and a fluted board also along the front of the eaves. End chimney-stacks with slightly corbelled-out plain red brick shafts. 2 sash windows to each storey with 2 vertical glazing-bars only and heavy Tudor hood-moulds; one gabled dormer with plain barge-boards, spike finial and 2-light casement window. Central entrance with hood-mould matching those over the windows; 4-panelled half-glazed door, with flat pilasters to surround, within a C20 boarded porch. At the rear is a small rendered 1½-storey wing with pantiled roof, end chimney-stack, and gabled dormer. Attached to its east end is a 2-storey outbuilding in random flint and old red brick, with black-glazed pantiled roof and slatted windows. The main house is set sideways-on to the road and has a large pond in front.
