Farmhouse. Late C16/early C17. Timber framed and plastered, plaintiled roof. 2 storeys and attic. 2 cell plan. 3 windows, mid C20 casements with ovolo- moulded mullions; one original mullioned window to first floor. Mid C20 gabled porch with 3-centre arched boarded door. Internal stack. The interior has a good exposed frame and exposed joists, original floorboarding and many original doors. Over one ground floor fireplace is the lower portion of a beam painted with heraldic devices, now somewhat faint: alternate fleurs-de- lys and animals (perhaps dogs), both on a chequered ground.
