Description
Church Farm Cottages are a pair of estate cottages located on Yoxford Road in Sibton. They have a core that dates back to the 16th century or early 17th century, with alterations and extensions made to the rear in the early 19th century. The cottages are timber framed and plastered, with some sections featuring colourwashed brick casing, and they have a thatched roof. The buildings are single storey with an attic and feature three windows, which include two-light and three-light 19th-century casements, along with two boarded doors. Matching 19th-century stacks are present at the gable ends, and the gables are adorned with scalloped barge-boards. Notably, No. 2 has exposed joists on the ground floor.
